Can I get to the campsite by public transport?

Various coach and bus operators serve Stony Stratford and Silverlink Trains stop at Wolverton. On the map below, the blue dots shows a walk (hike) from the railway station through Stony Stratford to the campsite.

It is about 4 miles (6 kilometres) from Wolverton railway station to The Quarries. Alternatively the walk along the Grand Union Canal into Cosgrove is a pleasant and shorter journey.

Where is the Quarries campsite?

The campsite is situated in the north west of Milton Keynes near the village of Cosgrove.

From the A5/A422/A508 junction, follow signs to A508 Northampton, take the next right turn signposted Cosgrove.
Follow the road for about ½ mile, the Quarries campsite is on the left.
